Over the coming months David Perridge, Head of Staff Development and Outreach, will be interviewing Dr Mimi Kirke-Smith, our Head of HEART and Therapy about some of the diagnoses experienced by students here at West Heath. They'll be exploring the fundamental features of diagnoses such as ASD and ADHD, considering not just how they can impact on a young person's ability to engage with education, but also looking to identify strategies most likely to help young people succeed. As the series progresses, we'll be able to go into greater depth as we explore the complexity of people's experience, all with the intention of developing the understanding upon which growth and wellbeing is most likely to flourish.
